Zipforce is one of the Swedish innovations to be showcased in the Swedish pavilion at the opening of the Expo 2020 World Exhibition in Dubai on October 1, 2021.
The Committee for Sweden's participation in Expo 2020 Dubai has selected Zipforce as one of the Swedish products and innovations that will represent the best of Sweden and the Swedish economy.
The World Exhibition will run for six months from its start in October this year and is expected to attract more than 20 million visitors. Follow Expo 2020
The theme of the Dubai World Expo is "Connecting Minds - Creating the Future". Almost 190 countries are participating in the exhibition, which runs until March 31, 2022. Around 15 Swedish companies have been selected to present the most innovative solutions in sustainability and mobility at the Swedish pavilion.
"It is extremely gratifying that Zipforce is given the opportunity to participate in the initiative that the Swedish government is running in connection with the World Expo in Dubai. Zipforce transforms any ordinary bicycle into an electric bicycle with a small, portable electric motor that mounts onto bicycles - smart, quick, and easy. The motor can easily be transferred from one bicycle to another, eliminating the need to invest in a new e-bike, thereby conserving natural resources. The portable electric motor attaches to the mount with a few clicks, and Zipforce provides power when the cyclist needs it.
Zipforce, launched in 2020, is patented and developed by founder Måns Bengtsson. Industrialization has been carried out jointly with Tritech, Lagan Plåtprodukter, and independent consultants. Zipforce is sold through its own online store. Manufacturing takes place at Lagan Plåtprodukter outside Ljungby in Småland.
- We have been working intensively for several years to develop a simple lifestyle product for environmentally conscious people that leads to a healthy lifestyle and at the same time contributes to a reduced climate footprint and better use of the Earth's resources," says Måns Bengtsson.
