A hot e-bike market is getting even hotter as Zipforce releases two new products – Zipforce Slim and Zipforce Distance. The new rechargeable electric motors are improved in several aspects compared to previous models – quieter, lighter, wireless pedal sensor, and easier installation.
Zipforce manufactures easy-to-install electric motors that turn any bicycle into an e-bike. Now, the "electric motor for all bikes" is launching two new upgraded products. Zipforce founder Måns Bengtsson explains:
We are very happy to bring these products to market. Zipforce is launching two very qualified e-bike kits. We have identified the challenges our customers have faced. Noise level and installation have been our biggest focus. We have also improved weight and flexibility.
What distinguishes Slim and Distance from the previous ONE model?
First and foremost, the noise is lower. Zipforce has developed a new quieter motor for both Slim and Distance. In addition, installation is significantly faster now that the process of attaching the pedal sensor has been reduced to simply clamping a wireless sensor to the pedal arm.
What is the difference between Slim and Distance?
Slim is perfect for those who commute or cycle in urban environments. It weighs only two kilograms, which is lighter than our previous ONE model. The Distance model has a larger battery, which is good for those who want to cycle longer distances without worrying about running out of power.
The goal is for more people to have the opportunity to transform their existing bicycle into an e-bike, quickly and easily. We see that our customers also value the environmental aspect; that they don't have to buy a brand new e-bike that has to be manufactured and shipped halfway across the globe.
