Zipforce gives existing bicycles new life. Both product development and manufacturing take place in Sweden. For you as a customer, this means assurance that we always choose components that meet our high standards and quality, and that we can take responsibility for you as a customer and your Zipforce product before, during, and after your ownership. We are passionate about smart and creative recycling and want to solve traffic and transportation problems worldwide while promoting an active and healthy lifestyle.

IT STARTED WITH A COMMUTER DREAM

Zipforce founder Måns Bengtsson came up with the idea for Zipforce when his commute to work became longer in 2016. Måns wanted to cycle to and from the bus station, but he didn't want to leave his expensive electric bike at the station due to the risk of theft. Instead, he thought of a small electric motor that could be easily removed from the bike and easily carried in his bag.

Four years later, there was a finished product, the portable and smart electric bicycle motor.

In the spring of 2020, the Zipforce ONE electric motor was launched with immediate success in Sweden. In 2022, two new products were launched: Zipforce Slim and Zipforce Distance. In 2022, the company also began an expansion into the EU.

The product is manufactured in Lagan, Småland, Sweden. The company's head office is located in central Stockholm. Zipforce is patented in Sweden and an international patent is being pursued. Zipforce is also design protected in the EU and China.

OUR MISSION

Globally, there are over a billion ordinary bicycles. Zipforce's mission is to electrify our planet's existing bicycles in a smart and cost-effective way through creative reuse and transformation into an even higher value product.

Zipforce will be a smart alternative to a purely electric bicycle because the user can mount Zipforce on their existing bicycle and thus does not need to buy a new electric bicycle. The electric motor can also be moved between different bicycles, allowing more family members to ride electrically.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to give existing bicycles new life, saving both energy and various types of raw materials.

Our long-term ambition is to convert more than 250,000 existing bicycles into smart and affordable e-bikes in the coming years. With the quick-mount electric motor, anyone who has a regular bicycle can convert it into an e-bike. Zipforce provides an extra boost to all conscious people in the world.
