Zipforce gives existing bicycles new life. Both product development and manufacturing take place in Sweden. For you as a customer, this means the security of knowing that we always choose components that meet our high quality standards, and that we can take responsibility for you as a customer and your Zipforce product before, during, and after use. We are passionate about smart and creative recycling and want to solve the challenges in traffic and transport globally, while promoting an active and healthy lifestyle.

IT STARTED WITH A COMMUTING DREAM

Zipforce founder Måns Bengtsson got the idea for Zipforce when he had a longer commute in 2016. Måns wanted to bike to and from the bus station but didn't want to leave his expensive electric bike at the station due to the risk of theft. Instead, he thought of a small electric motor that could be easily detached from the bike and carried in a bag.

Four years later, there was a finished product, the portable and smart electric bike motor.

In spring 2020, we launched the Zipforce ONE electric motor in Sweden with immediate success. In 2022, two new products were launched: Zipforce Slim and Zipforce Distance. In 2022, the company also began expansion into the EU.

The product is manufactured in Lagan in Småland, Sweden. The company's head office is located in central Stockholm. Zipforce is patented in Sweden, and an international patent is being worked on. Zipforce is also protected by design rights in the EU and China.

OUR MISSION

There are over a billion ordinary bicycles globally. Zipforce's mission is to electrify existing bicycles in a smart and cost-effective way through creative reuse and conversion into an even more valuable product.

Zipforce will be a smart alternative to a pure electric bicycle, as users can mount Zipforce on their existing bicycle and thus avoid buying a new electric bicycle. The electric motor can also be moved between different bicycles, allowing several family members to ride electrically.

OUR VISION

Our vision is to give new life to already existing bicycles, saving both energy and various types of resources.

Our long-term goal is to convert more than 250,000 existing bicycles into smart and affordable e-bikes in the coming years. With the quick-mount electric motor, anyone who owns a regular bicycle can upgrade to an e-bike. Zipforce gives an extra boost to all conscious people in the world.
