Provided that the Zipforce is correctly mounted and sufficiently pressed against the tire in the right way, there should be no significant wear and tear. However, should the drive wheel on your Zipforce have worn out and needs to be replaced, it is relatively easy to do it yourself on the older Zipforce ONE model.
If you have a Zipforce Slim or Zipforce Distance, we recommend sending the unit to us for replacement of the drive wheel rubber. This is a spare part, and the unit must be disassembled to perform the replacement. If this is done independently, the product warranty will expire. Contact customer service with any questions.

To prevent slippage and wear of the drive rubber:
- Proper tire pressure - We recommend a minimum of 4 bars of pressure for the drive wheel to make good contact with the bicycle tire and not slip
- Tighten the adjustment screw so that the drive wheel is pressed against the bicycle tire to prevent slipping
- Do not use studded bicycle tires, as they quickly damage the drive wheel
